In this course, you will learn about some of the Coptic Orthodox Church History, Rituals, Dogmas, Theology and Spirituality. The course extends also to cover some aspects of comparative theology and religion. It touches upon some key factors of Christian Marriage as well.

WHO CAN ATTEND
This course is suitable for
- People who are interested in Orthodox faith of all ages and all background.
- Partners or partners to be where the spouses are or one of the them is not Coptic.
- In depth refreshment for Coptic people.
The course is designed for one to one or small groups to encourage discussion.
NO FEES AND NO OBLIGATION
This course is free of charge and of any obligations.
TIME AND DURATION
The course is conducted twice a year on the first Wednesday of February and August of every year.
It goes for two hours (6:00 – 8:00 pm) every week for 13 weeks.
GRADUATIONS
Upon completing the course, participant will be receiving “Certificate of Compilation”.
INSTRUCTOR
The main Instructor for the course is Fr. Abram Abdelmalek, however other qualified instructors may be involved.
COMMENCING DATE
The Course will start on the first Wednesday of August 2016.

BIOGRAPHY
Father Abram Abdelmalek
Holds a BSs in Geology and B. Theo.
He migrated to Sydney, Australia in 1994.
Upon his arrival, he worked for the Australian Government for 2 years then he was ordained a priest on the 15/11/1996 by trice blessed the Late Pope Shenouda III for Saint Mary and Archangel Michael Church, in Perth, Western Australia.
He is a prominent figure in the ecumenical movement in WA, Australia and Internationally, giving lectures, holding camps and retreats and representing the Coptic Community in many arenas.
He holds many positions, of them is that he sits on the advisory board of WA Family voice.
Father Abram is currently helping the new comers and refugees to settle in Western Australia.
He is an author of many books and papers in Arabic and English, some of them is in the field of Coptic Church history and theology.
